1. Minister of Foreign Affairs Kang, Kyung-wha, together with Ambassador of Georgia to Korea Otar Berdzenishvili, signed the “Agreement on Air Services between the Government of the Republic of Korea and the Government of Georgia” on February 4, 2021.
o The two countries began to discuss the agreement at the proposal of Georgia and agreed to it through an air service consultation in July 2019. They signed the agreement following the completion of domestic procedures required for the signing.
2. The conclusion of the Air Services Agreement is expected to lay the institutional foundation for operating flights between the two countries and building a new northern network.
