U.S. Special Presidential Envoy for Arms Control Marshall Billingslea to Hold ROK-U.S. High-level Consultation on Disarmament and Non-proliferation during Visit to ROK

1. Special Presidential Envoy for Arms Control of the United States Marshall Billingslea will visit the Republic of Korea on September 27-28.

 

2. Deputy Minister for Multilateral and Global Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ham Sang-wook will meet with him on the morning of September 28 and exchange views on ways to strengthen the global disarmament and non-proliferation regime.

 

o The ROK and the U.S. have been in close communication and cooperation on key international disarmament and non-proliferation issues in the international fora, including the United Nations.
