1. The government of the Republic of Korea extends its deep sympathy and condolences to the government and the people of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia on the passing of all passengers and crew onboard Ethiopian Airlines flight 302, which crashed after taking off from Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, en route to Nairobi, the Republic of Kenya, on the morning of March 10. The ROK government also conveys its deep sympathy and condolences to the governments and the people of 34 countries foreign passengers were from, including Kenya and Canada.

2. The ROK government wishes all bereaved families of the victims and the people of Ethiopia a speedy recovery from shock and grief over the accident.
