2. The participants from the French side visited the ROK to attend a meeting of heads of diplomatic missions of France in Northeast Asia, held in Seoul. The French side said that considering President Moon Jae-in’s state visit to France in October 2018, and the latest progress in the situation on the Korean Peninsula, they held the meeting of heads of diplomatic missions of France in Northeast Asia in Seoul for the first time.

3. The two sides took note that President Moon Jae-in’s state visit to France in October helped further strengthen the ROK-France relations, and agreed to make every effort to implement follow-up measures.

4. In addition, the two sides took note of the recent progress on the Korean Peninsula, and agreed to continue to closely work together to achieve the goal of completely denuclearizing the Korean Peninsula and establishing peace on the Peninsula, as discussed in the ROK-France summit (October 15, 2018).
