2018 ROK-Japan-China Trilateral Cooperation Seminar to Take Place
1. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs will hold a seminar on trilateral cooperation among the Republic of Korea, Japan, and the People’s Republic of China under the theme “present and future of ROK-Japan-China trilateral cooperation” in Songdo, Incheon, on December 3.
2. The seminar, which takes place for the first time at the initiative of the ROK government, is a track-1.5 meeting where both the public and private sectors participate. It will bring together deputy directors-general of the Foreign Ministries of the three countries, and key experts from the countries.
3. In the upcoming seminar, which will be held in the order of a discussion on foreign and security affairs, a discussion on economic and regional cooperation, and a comprehensive discussion, the participants will discuss ways to make tangible progress in trilateral cooperation, and to increase substantive cooperation in a range of areas among the three countries.
4. The Foreign Ministry will continue to hold seminars bringing together experts from the three countries, and carry out various cooperation projects in order to advance and make tangible progress in trilateral cooperation.
