1. Special Representative for Korean Peninsula Peace and Security Affairs Lee Do-hoon will meet with Vice Foreign Minister of the People's Republic of China and Special Representative of the Chinese Government on the Korean Peninsular Affairs Kong Xuanyou in Beijing on October 19 for a meeting of top negotiators of the Republic of Korea and China in the Six-Party Talks.

In the meeting, to be held as part of close consultations between the ROK and China to achieve complete denuclearization and establish peace on the Korean Peninsula, the two sides will share information and assessments regarding the latest progress in the situation on the Korean Peninsula after the consultation between Vice Foreign Minister of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea Choe Son-hui and Chinese Vice Foreign Minister Kong Xuanyou, and the trilateral North Korea-China-Russia consultation. They will also discuss in depth ways to work together to facilitate consultations on denuclearization among countries concerned, including US-North Korea dialogue.
