1. The Korean government welcomes the Al-Ula Declaration announced at the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Summit held in Al-Ula, Saudi Arabia, on January 5, which affirms Gulf, Arab and Islamic solidarity and stability, as well as its decision to restore the free flow of goods and people.

o The Korean government also highly commends the mediation efforts made by the Kuwaiti government to resolve disputes and promote unity in the Gulf.

2. The Korean government will continue to cooperate with Gulf and Arab countries, including the GCC Member States, and other countries concerned to promote peace and stability in the Middle East.
