The government of the Republic of Korea welcomes the agreement reached between the Republic of the Sudan and the State of Israel on October 23 to normalize their relations and end the state of belligerence, and hopes that the agreement will contribute to establishing stability and peace in the region.

2. In addition, the ROK government welcomes the United States’ decision to remove Sudan from the State Sponsors of Terrorism list on October 23, and hopes that Sudan’s efforts towards democratic transition and economic development will bear fruits.
