White House Senior Advisor Ivanka Trump was invited by Foreign Minister Kang Kyung-wha to visit the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Korea to the United Nations for the first time on September 24.

Upon meeting, Minister Kang thanked Advisor Ivanka Trump for heading the US delegation’s February visit to the PyeongChang Winter Olympics and contributing to the friendship between the ROK and the US and its peoples. The two shared stories of Advisor Ivanka Trump’s last visit to the ROK and Minister Kang’s recent visit to North Korea’s Pyeongyang. Minister Kang invited Advisor Ivanka Trump to the ROK once more, and the advisor expressed wishes to re-visit the country soon.
