Foreign Minister Kang Kyung-wha met with US Ambassador to the ROK Harry Harris on Monday.  

The two spoke last August when Ambassador Harris was in command of the US Pacific Command and exchanged views on how USPACOM could contribute to peace and stability on the Korean Peninsula.  

FM Kang said in Monday's meeting that the newly appointed ambassador, with his experience and judgment, is a blessing to the country at such a momentous time on the peninsula.
