Foreign Minister Kang Kyung Wha met with Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbaevher and her Kazak counterpart FM KAIRAT ABDRAKHMANOV on April 17. President Nursultan Nazarbaev said the Central Asian country will continue to support the ROK on issues related to the Korean Peninsula, as the inter-Korean summit is planned next week. Meanwhile, the top diplomats discussed ways to deepen the bilateral relations while exchanging views on the upcoming summits between the two Koreas and between Washington and Pyongyang. The meetings took place during Minister Kang's three-day trip to Central Asian countries between April 16 to 19.
